Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) Kano Command has said that following midnight patrol by the joint operatives of security agencies attached to Kano State government Taskforce on combating Phone snatch and illicit drugs, eleven ( 11) suspected criminals have been arrested.
SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, Civil Defence Public Relations Officer, Kano command made this known in a statement.

He maintained that the suspects were nabbed around Sabon gari, Fagge, Kantin kwari Market and Kofar Mata with dangerous weapons and some illicit drugs, ranging from sword, knife, scissors, suck and die (sukudayen), gum solution among others believed to have been terrorising the areas with snatching of phones, vandalism, drugs peddling and theft.

He noted that the Kano’s NSCDC Intelligence and Investigation department concluded all the necessary investigation and the suspects have since been charged to court.
