Baba Jibo Ibrahim, the spokesperson of the Kano State High Court Division, has announced the passing of his mother, Hajiya Aisha, aged 84.
In a statement he sent to journalists on Sunday, Mr Jibo said his mother died on Saturday morning after a prolonged illness.

He revealed that the deceased left behind eight children and 84 grandchildren, including Alhaji Baba Adamu, former Nassarawa Ward Head and himself.
She was buried according to Islamic rites on Saturday, with notable figures in attendance, including Judges from Kano State High Courts, Shari’ah Court of Appeal, Kano Judiciary staff, Directors, Businessmen, Civil Servants, and Politicians.
