The Gombe State Police Command has reiterated its determination to partner with Radio Nigeria Jewel FM Gombe to continue raising awareness about its activities throughout the state.

This was made known by the newly posted Public Relations Officer of the command, Mahid Muazu Ahmad, during a courtesy visit to Radio Nigeria Jewel FM in Gombe.
According to Mahid Muazu,Radio stations play an important role in educating the public on the importance of peace and obeying law.
He pointed out that he visited the station to strengthen the existing mutual working relationship between the radio station and the Nigerian Police.
The new PPRO expressed his gratitude for the warm reception accorded to them during the visit and promised to do his utmost to ensure the good relations between Jewel FM and the Gombe State Police Command stand the test of time.

Responding, the general manager of Radio Nigeria Jewel FM Gombe, Malam Garba Ubale Danbatta pledged to continue to give the Gombe State Police Command full cooperation and support at all times to ensure its genuine success.

He further explained that Radio Nigeria was established by the federal government purposely to sensitize the public on the key issues affecting them and Jewel FM is always ready to continue its commitment to community mobilization and awareness.
