Farewell Message to Retiring CP Mamman Dauda

By DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi

The good people of Kano will not forget so soon the valid contribution to security of lives and property by CP Mamman Dauda as commissioner of Police, Kano State command, this is inspite of the intermittent redeployment of the CP to some States outside Kano to supervise the recently concluded general elections. No wonder during his reign miscreants have had a hard time as many of them were apprehended and brought to justice.

To sister security agencies like Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, CP Dauda will be always remembered as a unifier, a senior colleague that believes, cherishes and champion collaborative relationship and synergy with sister security outfits in Kano. He’s of the belief that security business is a team work and there should be mutual respect between and among all the security agencies.

CP Mamman Dauda is a man of impeccable character, a humble personality, a complete gentle man who extols the good virtues of honesty, sincerity, equity and justice and above all selfless service to humanity.

The NSCDC, Kano State Command, under the able leadership of Commandant Adamu Salihu holds in high esteem the retiring CP. He was at the civil defence state headquarters to bid farewell to the State Commandant. He used the occasion to thank and appreciate the Corps for the support and cooperation accorded him and wished same will be given to his successor.

As you retire but we believe you are not tired, God in his infinite mercy will continue to open his windows of opportunities for you and place you strategically in some capacities in order to continue to serve humanity. May you continue to thrive and prosper in your future endeavors, ameen.

DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi is the Public Relations Officer, NSCDC Kano command.
