The Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN) in Kano has apprehended 250 suspects involved in various criminal activities in the last five months.

Kano State Commander of VGN Ubale Barau Badawa made this known at a press briefing through his spokesperson Usman Muhammad Dandaji.
He said the alleged activities included cable wire vandalism, phone theft, motorcycle theft, and animal theft.
The commander, Ubale Barau Badawa, stated that his operatives hand over suspects to relevant authorities, such as the Nigeria Police, NSCDC, NDLEA, and Hisbah.

He emphasized that the Kano VGN collaborates with all security agencies to ensure a safe society and commended Kano State Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf and his deputy, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam for their support.
The commander urged the public to refrain from committing crimes stressing that the VGN will continue to support all security agencies in achieving their objectives.
