Speaking on a live radio call-in program in Kano, the VC says there is a need for collaboration among academics to evolve modalities as well as set up goals to move Nigeria forward, especially the educationally disadvantaged northern part.

The Vice Chancellor further asserted that Baba Ahmed University was among the newly established institutions in the country to cater for the teeming population of youths who compete for limited admission quotas in Nigerian Universities.

He further explained that such admission quotas in the Nigerian university system cannot adequately accommodate the number of candidates seeking admission; hence the leftovers would eventually become a nuisance to the society.
