Community Policing: CP Gombe Inaugurates Security Neighborhood Watch in Bajoga

Gombe Commissioner of Police Ishola Babatunde Babaita has inaugurated Security Neighborhood Watch Surveillance in Bajoga town, Funakaye  LGA, in  an effort to get rid of criminals and criminalities in Gombe State.


Commissioner Babaita, represented by Area Commander, Bajoga LGA, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Abubakar S. Giade said the gesture was in line with IGP Alkali Baba’s Community Policing Agender, which is community based strategy in getting intelligence from key relevant stakeholders.

He said “This is effective means where Police collaborates with community, to identify their security trends, as well as threat bedeviling the community, and profound solutions to the identified menacing phenomenal proactively, for the safety of all and Sundry.”


The Commissioner applauded the dignitaries who attended the inaugural ceremony.

These include: Commissioner for Internal Security and Ethical Re-orientation, Adamu Dishi Kupto, Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Gombe state on Inter Party Matters, and Emir of Funakaye Alh. Mua’z Muhd. Kwairanga 111, among many others who attended the occasion.
