Federal Lawmaker, Kawu escapes lynching in Kano

Member House of Representatives Representing Tarauni Federal Constituency, Hafizu Kawu has narrowly escaped mob action in Kano.

Justice gathered that kawu sneeked into his campaign office, located along farm centre road inorder to hide from his supporters.

Unknown to him our correspondent gathered that the supporters were tipped off of his arrival at the office.

The supporters in their hundreds barricaded the office when legislsture was inside.

It was also gathered that after conducting his  activities and came out of the office he suddenly ramped into the irate supporters.

It was further learnt that the angry supporters pounced on him and try to beat him to a pulp but for the Intervention of Police and some good samaritan around he was able to escape by the whiskers.

The police took a hectic time trying to smugled him out of the premises in a patrol ban without being hurt.

Some of irate youths who spoke to our correspondent in the wake of the drama said they were offended simply because the legislature has totally abandoned his constituents.

When contacted to shed more light on the incident the Lawmaker vehemently denied being lynch at the premises of his office adding that the angry youths came to his office inorder to be settled on a job they executed which eventually turned into a rowdy affair.

He also denied abandoning his constituents.
