Drug Abuse: NDLEA, NGO Take Sensitization Campaign to Islamiyya School in Niger

The Guided Minds Initiative, (GMI) a Non Governmental Organization, (NGO) in collaboration with National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Niger State Command of NDLEA Zonal Command Zone (C) have conducted sensitization campaigns against the dangers of drug abuse to Attaawuun Educational Services Bosso, Niger state.

In a remark, Deputy Commander of the NDLEA Niger State command, DCN Shehu Nomau Gwadabawa said the program was designed to sensitize the youths on  Prevention Against Drug Abuse ( PADA).

He urged youths to shun all act of drug abuse, stressing that drug abuse ruin life, stressing that is not good in drug abuse.

Similarly in his speech, Director of Attaawuun Educational Services, Dr. Bashir Ahmad Yankuzo advised for the sustainance of awareness campaign against drug abuse, calling on key relevant stakeholders to do more to entire society

Earlier speaking, founder/Executive Director, Guided Minds Initiative, Muhammad Murtada Abdullahi said the sensitization was part of the Initiative’s commitments to ensure free drug society.

He called on Attaawuun students to extend what they learned to their fellow students.

At the end of the lecture, the Truth About Drug Booklets were shared courtesy to Foundation for a Drug Free World International.
