A Retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Jiya Gana has died on Monday, following a short illness.
The news of his demise was disclosed by members of his family.
The source said the demise of the Retired AIG has left the community in mourning.
The funeral prayer (Janaza) for the repose of deceased soul was conducted by 4 pm at his residence, located beside the Customs Office, Minna. Niger State.

Family, friends, and well-wishers gathered to pay their final respects and bid farewell to the departed soul.
