Three people have reportedly dead, following a building collapsed due to heavy downpour that lasted for an hours, at Jigawar Tsada village, Dutse LGA, Jigawa State.
DSP Shiisu Lawan Adam made this known in a statement issued, Thursday.
He said the incident occurred on 8th September, 2022 at about 0950hrs.
“Information received from the village head of Jigawar Tsada, Dutse LGA, that on the same date, one building has collapsed at Jigawar Tsada village due to the heavy rain which lasted for an hours over the night.”
According to the DSP Shiisu the Three (3) victims include: Farida Idi ‘f’ age 6years, Mariya Idi ‘f’ age 3yrs, and Bilkisu Yahya ‘f’ age 1yrs 6month.”

“All of Yakasai Jigawar Tsada village in Dutse LGA were reportedly dead on the spot before they could be rescue.”
He however, said on receipt of the report, detectives moved to the scene, evacuated their remaining and rushed to General Hospital Dutse.
He maintained that on arrival, the Medical Doctor on duty, certified them dead.

Corpses were photographed and released to their relatives for burial according to Islamic rite.
The Commissioner of Police, Jigawa State Police Command, CP Aliyu Sale Tafida, condoled with the parent, family and relatives and prayed Almighty Allah to give them fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.
