The Commissioner of Police, Katsina State Command, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa, has commended ten officers of the 27 PMF Katsina for their courageous act of rescuing a kidnapped victim and recovering 113 rustled animals.
ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, Katsina Command Public Relations Officer, made this known in a statement.

He said the officers were on special duty in Kankara LGA when they achieved the feat, after engaging in a fierce gun battle with heavily armed suspected kidnappers.
He stated that CP Musa awarded the officers for their exceptional display of bravery and commitment to their duties.
He expressed his appreciation for their bravery and encouraged them to continue with their remarkable work.

In another event, the CP received the newly deployed Customs Area Comptroller, Compt. MA Umar, in his office for a courtesy visit.
The Comptroller stated that the purpose of the visit was to strengthen the already established synergy between the Customs Area Command and the police command.
The CP thanked the Comptroller for the visit and assured him of the command’s continuous support in maintaining and improving the cordial relationship between the two commands.

The meeting concluded with the signing of the visitors’ register and a group photograph.
