The Chairman, Kano Tipper Drivers Association Alhaji Ado Umar Santar Lungu has called on his members to abide by Traffic Rules and Regulations while on roads to avoid road crashes, lost of lives and property
Umar Ado Santar Lungu made the call during his interraction with Journalists in Kano.
He urged Tipper Drivers to always ensure particulars as well as Vehicle worthiness every morning before embarking on driving.
The Chairman also stated the significance of Road Traffic Enforcement Agencies such: as Vehicle Inspection Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigeria Police and KAROTA described them as partners in progress.
” I urge you to cooperate with Road Traffic Enforcement Agencies while discharging your duties. They are on roads to help us conduct our affairs effectively. I also want to appeal to Enforcement Agencies on behalf of our members to consider their job as a call to duty,”

He enjoined Enforcement Agencies to be professional while interacting with Tipper Drivers, noting that his members play a significant role in making sure kano remain clean, particularly during end of the month environmental sanitation.
Santa Lungu stressed the importance of periodic meeting by the Association calling on all members to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations governing the conduct of Kano Tipper Drivers.
