20 Died, Properties Worth over N39 Million Destroyed by Fire in Kano

The Kano State Fire Service said 20 people have lost their lives in a fire out break occurred within the state in the Month of March.

This was contained in a statement by the Service Public Relations Officer, Saminu Yusuf Abdullahi and sent to justicewatchnews.com.

He noted that State Fire Service under the period in review has rescued 122 lives from fire incident in the state.

The statement said fire has destroyed properties worth over N39.6 Million explaining that Fire Service in Kano saved properties worth N81.3 Million.

Abdullahi maintained that in the Month of March, the Service recieved 116 fire calls from different by part of the state.

Police Arrests 34 Suspects of Katsina Fire Incident Looters.

It added that the service recieved  88 Rescue Calls within the period in review, explaining that total 22 false alarm were recorded in the month of March.

The statement charged people to handle fire with care to avoid inferno.


To abide by the traffick law to avoid road accidents and to be vigilant on our children movement especially for local swimming in pond or rivers

” To stop our children from playing near wells”.
