Jigawa State Command of Nigeria Police has confirmed the abduction of one Lawal Zakari aged 38 years and took away the sum of N60M from his house located at Dankoli Quaters in Kiyawa LGA of the state.
In a statement by ASP Lawan Shiisu, Acting PPRO, Jigawa State Command said that on 17th July, 2021 at about 0300hrs a syndicate of 5 suspected criminals jumped into the house of the victim and abducted him.

” On 17/07/2021 at about 0550hrs one Aliyu Zakari ‘M’ of Dankoli Qtrs Kiyawa LGA came to the station and reported that, on the same date at about 0300hrs. A gang of Five (5) criminals jumped into the house of his brother one Lawal Zakari ‘M’ aged 38yrs old of the same address. They demanded for 60m from him whereas it was sixty thousand naira (60,000.00) brought him in the fateful night by his boy, the whole house was ransacked and later took him away, his phone and that of his wives were collected”.
Police Arrests Suspected Rapist In Jigawa
The statement also said that the kidnappers used a motor vehicle during the operation noting that effort is on going to arrest the suspects and rescue the victim.
