NSCDC Begins Psychological Profiling on Personnel Weapons Handling in Kano

The Forensic and Behavioral Unit, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has arrived Kano Command for the psychological profiling and forensic evaluation of the arms bearing of 100 Officers undergoing intensive training on weapons handling at the command.

Addressing the Personnel the Head of Forensic and Behavioral Unit of the Corps, Muhammmad Sani Ibrahim said the rationale behind the psychological test is to assess the level of Intelligence Quotient (IQ) of the personnel working in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to effectively conduct their responsibilities assigned to them as well as having comprehensive data of all the staff.

Sani stressed the significance of testing Arms Bearing Personnel to ascertain the psychological balance or imbalance of the Officers inrelations to weapons handling.

According to him, the evaluation is among the core policy of the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmad Abubakar Audi to rejig, revamp, and reposition of the Corps for better service delivery to Nigerians.

In a statement by DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, Command’s Public Relations Officer noted that Muhd Sani was represented by Dr Shapera who is heading the Unit at the National headquarters.
