The Commander General, Kano State Hisbah Board, Dr. Harun Muhammmad Sani Ibn Sina has requested for the Assistant Inspector General of Police, zone one, AIG Sadik Abubakar Bello’s support in the fight against illegal sales of drugs and consumption of other intoxicants substances.

Muhammmad Ibn Sina made the request when he led his management team on courtesy visit to the AIG zone 1, Kano.
He pointed out that Hisbah is among the key relevant stakeholders established to maintained law and order in the State.
The Commander General, noted that the aim of the visit was to fine-tune modalities on how to curtail the crime and criminality in the state.
He maintained that the aim was to strengthen relationship between the two organisations.
Ibn Sina identified some of the responsibilities of Hisbah which include: prevention of crime and criminalities, Mediation between
Marriage Couples, traffic control, enforcing the law banning prostitution, rescue of victims during accident among others.
On his part, Assistant Inspector General of Police zone one Kano, AIG Sadik Abubakar Bello while assuring his support to the Kano Hisbah Board, he also described them as partner in progress towards eradicating all social vices in the state.
He maintained that the Zone was saddled with the task of overseeing security situation as well as protecting lives and property in 2 states namely: Kano and Jigawa State respectively.
He assured that his door is always open for Hisbah officials when ever the need arises.

In a statement by Lawan Ibrahim Fagge, Public Relations Officer, Hisbah Board Kano added that the visit ended with a group photographs.
