Jigawa State High court sitting at Birnin kudu has sentenced one Ado Muhammad to life imprisonment for commiting unlawful anal intercourse against the order of nature with two boys who are all underaged childrens of same address.

The Convict, 18, a resident of kofar fada Birnin kudu, Birnin kudu LGA of Jigawa state was said to have committed the offence of sodomy against the two underaged victims at Dutsawa Rock situated at Birnin-kudu town of Jigawa State some times in the month of march, 2023.
The prosecutions presented Five witnesses and tendered four exhibits including the medical certificate in support of their case.

On the other hand, the convict testified in his defence and called one additional witness who testified in his favour.

Consequently, the Presiding Judge, Justice Musa Ubaĺe arrived at the aforementioned verdict notwithstanding the plea for leniency made by the convict, but the fact that the offence upon which the convict is found guilty carries a mandatory sentence, the court left with no other option than to pass such a mandatory life sentence pursuant to the provision of Section 3 (2) & (4) of VAPP Laws, of Jigawa State.
The convict was given three months right of
Appeal.
