The Minister of Interior Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has paid condolence visit to the family and people of Kano State over the demise of Hajiya A’isha Rufa’i, Secretary/Director of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Board of the Ministry of Interior.(CDCFIB)
Speaking to newsmen shortly after conveying the condolence message of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aregbesola said the President was deeply touched by the monumental lost of a prominent daughter of Kano.
He said the death of Rufa’i has left a great vacuum in the Board of Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Board.
He described her as epitome of Civil service, who within her time as Secretary/Director of the Board improved the entire Headquarters of the Board.
The Minister prayed the soul of the deceased to rest in paradise, “May Almighty Allah grant you the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,”
Also speaking, a family Member to the deceased, Alhaji Ibrahim Habu Sule described the death of late Aisha Rufa’i as great loss not only to her family but Nigerians as a whole.
He said her 18 months stay at the Board has added a positive impact to Civil Service.
Justice Watch News, however observed that the Minister was accompanied by Controller General CG of Nigerian Correctional Service, NCoS Haliru Nababa and top other Management officers of the Board.
