The Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, (KACCIMA) is gearing up for its 45th International Trade Fair, scheduled to take place from November 23 to December 7, 2024.
President of KACCIMA, Alhaji Garba Imam emphasized during a press briefing that the event aims to improve Nigeria’s economic standards.

He said the trade fair seeks to reduce the country’s reliance on foreign products and promote local goods to combat inflation caused by fluctuating foreign exchange rates.
He also said over 300 participants are expected to attend, with opportunities for business growth and networking.
According to him, enhanced security measures will be implemented, including 80 personnel, CCTV surveillance, and a monitoring room to ensure a safe environment.
Kashim Shettima, vice president will launch the event, while the Kano Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf will host dignitaries from around the world.

The President maintained “Participants will enjoy free data services, with passwords provided. This year’s trade fair promises to be an exciting platform for businesses to showcase their products and contribute to Nigeria’s economic development.”
