Jigawa Police Command has said that one Samaila Ilu, 35, has committed suicide in Kafin Hausa LGA.
DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, Jigawa Command Public Relations Officer made this known in a statement issued.

He said on 17th August, 2023 at about 1100hrs the command received a report that one Sama’ila Ilu, a resident of Kafin Hausa LGA, left his house on 16th Aug. 2023 to an unknown destination.
He said his body was later found hanging on a tree with rope, presuming he had committed suicide.
” A team of Policemen removed the corpse and conveyed him to Hospital for autopsy.

“The corpse was released to his relatives for burial.” He stated.
