A Kano State High Court, presided over by Justice Aisha Ya’u, has temporarily restrained Muhammad Bello’s faction parading themselves as the elected executives of the Kano Civil Society Forum (KCSF) until the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.

Justice Aisha Ya’u gave the order, upon hearing of a motion expate dated 29th July, 2024 together with accompanying affidavit duly sworn to by Peter Hassan Tijani, (4th Applicant) and written address attached thereto.
The order reads, ” An Order Of Interim Injunction is granted restraining the 8th to 22nd Defendants/Respondents, either by themselves, servants, agents, privies, or any other person assign whatsoever and howsoever from parading themselves as elected executives of the 1st Defendant pending the hearing and determination of Motion on Notice.”

The Applicants in the case include: Amb Ibrahim waiya, Ibrahim Hassan Gama, Hajiya Rakiya Ladi Musa, Peter Hassan Tijani, Mustapha Chiroma, Ibrahim Muhammad, Yahaya A Yahaya and Barrister Maryam Abubakar.

While on the other hand, the defendants include:
Registered Trustees Of Kano Civil Society Forum,
Hamisu Isah (Chairman Electoral Committee)
DR. Abdurrahman Hudu (Secretary Electoral Committee) Halima Ben Omar (Member Electoral Commitee) Abdurrazak Alkali (Member Electoral Committee) and Abba Bello (Member Electoral Committee).

The Court adjourned the case to 10th Sept,2024 for hearing.
