Aliko Dangote Varsity Halts ‘Fake Pregnancy Day’ Event Planned by Female Students

In a swift action to tackle the menace of immorality on Campus, authorities of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology Wudil has uncovered and halted plan by a group of female students to organize an illegal event tagged ‘Fake Pregnancy Day’.

A circular dated 13th August, 2025 and issued by the Dean Student Affairs Division, Prof. Abdulkadir Muhammad Danbazau  that “such an event is alien to us andstated was neither authorized nor approved by the Dean or the University management”.

Prof. Danbazau emphasized that such activity is a violation of Code of Students Conduct and contrary to the values and standards of the University.

“The University views this matter with utmost seriousness and will go to any extent to protect its reputation”, the Dean said.

Meanwhile, the organizers of the event were already identified and the matter has been taken to Disciplinary Committee for the culprits to face the wrath of the law.

“We implore all students to act as responsible ambassadors of the University and seek proper authorization for all activities”, Dambazau concluded.

Abdullahi Datti Abdullahi Arzai Deputy Registrar, Information and Public Relations Unit made the disclosure in a statement issued on Saturday.
