Kano State Fire Service has said that fire disaster destroyed properties worth over N11 million in the month of February 2021.
In a statement by the Service Public Relations Officer Sa’idu Muhd Ibrahim said the record is for monthly activities of the Service in Kano under review.
The statement noted that 8 persons have under review lost their lives to fire inferno, explaining that 111 Lives were saved from fire incident across the state.
According to the statement the Service maintained that it has saved estimated properties worth N180.2 million.
The statement further stated that the Service within the month in review recieved 95 Fire Calls from different locations of the State, stating that 59 were for Rescue and it recorded 13 False Alarms.
