Road Safety Officers’ Wives Association Leads Humanitarian Visit to Kano Hospital

As part of activities marking the 2024 World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Crash Victims, members of the Road Safety Officers’ Wives Association (ROSOWA), alongside other staff of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Kano Sector Command, on Sunday visited the Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital, Kano.

The delegation, led by the ROSOWA Chairperson Mrs. Umar M. Masudu, who was represented by the Vice Chairperson, Hajiya Rakkiya Kabir, included the State Coordinator of Special Marshals, the Deputy Director of Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA), and several officers and marshals.

The team was warmly received by the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Usman Tijjani Aliyu, represented by the Administrative Secretary of the hospital.

The delegation was conducted around the Accident and Emergency Ward, where items such as disinfectants, detergents, and other toiletries were distributed to victims of road traffic crashes.

This humanitarian gesture underscores the commitment of FRSC Kano Sector Command and ROSOWA to support crash victims and promote road safety awareness.

It also aligns with the global theme of the World Day of Remembrance” Remember, Support and Act”, focusing on solidarity and care for victims and their families.
