The Minister of Interior Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has expressed satisfaction with the progress of ongoing 3000 capacity Ultra modern Custodial Centre in Janguza, Kano, stressing that if completed will assist in smooth dispensation of justice.
The Minister made the assertion in a chat with the Journalists when he paid an inspection visit to access the level of the project so far.
“I’m highly impressed with the level of work and the stage of completion, I hope we have enough provision in the budget next year to fully complete the project and put it into use, I’m really impressed with quality of the work,”
During the visit the Minister was accompanied by Controller General, Nigerian Correctional Service, (NCoS) Haliru Nababa, and other management officers in the Ministry of Interior, Kano Comptroller of Nigerian Immigration Service and his counterparts of Correctional Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC).
