Not The Zenith Yet, Comrade

Few days ago when you penned words of gratitude and loyalty to your Principal, the piece re-echoed the essence of mutual trust and integrity for public office holders. Signs of effective management (good leadership) began to manifest right from your days as Chair, NUJ Kano State Council.

The feat progressed even further when you assumed office as Deputy National President and President of our Union and went on to occupy the exalted seat at sub regional ( West Africa) and Continent levels.

Comrade Muhammad Garba, you have kept faith with the tenets of our noble profession. You have carried along the membership in times of peace and setbacks. You have sustained massive assistance to families of our fallen colleagues, and extended largess to the needy ones among the living. People like my humble self, Comrade Abdulkadir Ahmed Ibrahim and several others you hold in high esteem and regard as your senior colleagues feel greatly proud that these accomplishments have not only brought out the previously unknown rare qualities that Allah had endowed you with, but also made you adored by many outside the journalism profession.

You have been a very good, promising Ambassador. By Allah’s grace you haven’t reached the zenith yet Comrade.
