Manpower Development: 344 Police Constables Redeployed to Jigawa Command

No fewer than three hundred and forty four (344) Newly passed out Police Constables were redeployed to Jigawa State Police Command, after having six (6) months intensive and rigorous training in basic, intermediate and advance Police studies with newly Police Reformation Agenda at Police College Kaduna (PCK), and Police Training School Bauchi (PTS) respectively.

DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, Police Public Relations Officer, Jigawa State Police Command, made this known in a statement.

He said rhe newly passed out Police Constables will be posted to their respective Local Government Areas to further deepen the Community Policies Strategy, as they were been earlier drawn from the twenty seven (27) Local Government Areas in the State, in due regards to the President and Federal character Commission’s directives.

Receiving them at the State Headquarters Dutse, Commissioner of Police, Jigawa State Police Command, ably represented by DC Admin, DCP Emanuel O. Toluse, welcome and congratulated them back to their State after successful training, which engaged in physical exerting and intellectually challenging training activities that were carefully designed to transit them from civilian’s mentality to professional Police Officers with the right orientation to meet the challenges of policing the modern world.

The DC lamented that, discipline is the bedrock of Police, he warned them to be discipline, loyal, fairness, justice, dedication, exhibits high level of professionalism and shun from any corrupt practice if they want to succeed and stay long in Police carrier.

The Command assured the good people of Jigawa that, the newly passed out Police were being evolved to protect Nigerians with courage and serve them with compassion.

“To this end, the Command solicits citizens’s support and cooperation to enable them to discharge their legitimate duty.”

The newly passed out Police while giving vote of thanks, appreciated Mr President, Minister for Police Affairs and Chairman Police Service Commission for approving the regular recruitment of ten thousand (10,000) Junior Cadre Police Constables every year to make up for the existing manpower deficit / needs of the Force.

“Equally thanks, Inspector General of Police IGP Alkali Usman Baba, Commissioner of Police, Jigawa State Command CP Aliyu Sale Tafida and Jigawa State Government for the commitments right from recruitment process up to the passing out parade.

DSP how stated that new constables promised to work diligently, efficiently, and elevated the Nigeria Police Force into a higher level.
