KILAF Collaborates with National Gallery of Arts for Exciting Event in Kano

Kano Indigenous Languages of Africa Film Market and Festival (KILAF 24′) Team has hosted the Officers from the National Gallery of Arts, (NGA) to consolidate on the existing relationship between them.

According to a statement issued on Thursday by  KILAF Founder/CEO Mr Abdulkareem Mohammed, said the discussions and deliberations between the two parties geared towards the forthcoming Kano Indigenous Languages of Africa Film Market and Festival, KILAF, scheduled for November 25th to 30th, 2024 in Kano.

The Founder and CEO of KILAF who is also, the Managing Director of Moving Image Limited, maintained that KILAF and NGA resolved to strengthen the Arts, Crafts and Products’ Exhibition this year, which according to him will be held from November 25-30 at the Ado Bayero Mall.

The CEO maintained that KILAF ’24 is gearing up towards this year’s event with renewed vigor and hope. “With 66 nations becoming actively involved with the film festival, the organizers, Moving Image Limited and all its collaborating partners, are ensuring that the event is conducted with satisfaction of each participant guaranteed.”

“Thus, a meeting was held to strengthen the Arts, Crafts and Products Exhibition component of KILAF’s five-day activity.” He noted

Mr. Mohammed revealed that to make room for more space available for exhibitors, the meeting decided to seek collaboration with Ado Bayero Mall management for the Exhibition to hold at their premises, stressing that, the film screenings would be held there too.

He added that these decisions are clear indication of KILAF’s growth and development.

The Managing Director of Moving Image Limited, Abdulkareem Mohammed, states: “We are responding to the global acceptance of KILAF by planning to make the 7th Edition of global standards. We have to ensure that Kano and its people give good account of themselves in the presence of worldwide visitors to the ancient city.”
