Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, (NSCDC) has arrested a suspected vandal of flash doors, at Gidan Kwakwa Federal Housing Estate, in Katsina Metropolis.
The Katsina State Commandant NSCDC, CC Jamilu Abdu Indabawa at a press briefing said the suspect was arrested by the special Anti vandal team, through Community collaboration and engagement strategies for Anti vandal operations, in the State.
He said the Anti vandal Unit, led by Chief Superintendent of Corps, CSC Musa Adam Usman, intensified surveillance, patrol, Community collaboration and engagement, to achieve the success.
The suspect, Shamsudeen Umar, a Male of 28 years of age, is a resident of Kofar Sauri Quarters, and was apprehended at Kukar Gesa Area, after been monitored with suspicious doors, and tools for obtaining them, by people residing along the area.

Commandant Jamilu Abdu Indabawa, assured residents of the area that, the suspect will be charged to a competent court, for prosecution, after the completion of the investigation.
He also called on the good people of Katsina State to always remain law abiding, further assuring them of adequate Security, as the Command will not relent in its commitment to uncover all the activities of Vandals, economic saboteurs and other criminals in the State.

While thanking the general public for their continuous cooperation, he urged for more support to the Security agencies operating in the State, by providing actionable and timely intelligence, that will help uncover the activities of miscreants in the State, pledging that, the Command, will always remain dedicated to ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for the good people of Katsina State and Nigeria as a whole.
