In the spirit of Eid Mubarak, the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has donated 12 cows, bags of rice, and other cooking ingredients to Custodial Centers in Kano State.
This is in line with the administration’s penchant towards the welfare of inmates and other vulnerable people in the State.
This Statement was made by the Chairperson of the Committee for Prerogative of Mercy in the State, Hajiya Azumi Namadi Bebeje in a Sallah message to the inmates in the State.
Hajiya Namadi appreciated the State Government for the relentless support and assistance to the inmates to became law abiding citizens.
She further stated that the initiative is crucial to the successful custodial management as well as for the reformation and rehabilitation of inmates.

CSC Musbahu Lawan knassarawa Public Relation officer Kano State Command, the Controller of Corrections Kano State Command, Ado Inuwa, received the donations and thanked the State Government for the unwavering support towards the welfare of inmates in the State, and making the inmates feel part of the society.
