In a unanimous decision, the Justices of the Supreme Court, upheld that the appeal by senator Ibrahim shekaru led faction lacks merit.
The Apex Court maintained that Abuja High court presided over by Justice Hamza Mua’zu who nullified the ward congress conducted by Ganduje led faction erred in law, affirming that Abuja high court lacks territorial jurisdiction to entertain what emanated from Kano.
The Apex Court Also upheld that the intra party issues are not justiceable.
It therefore stroke out the appeal by shekaru G7 led faction of the APC for lacking in merit and affirmed the ward/State Congresses conducted under the supervision of Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas.
