The Kano Police Command has today Monday transferred Abduljabar Nasir Kabara to Kano Correctional Centre as ordered by Upper Shari,ah Court Judge, Mallam Ibrahim Sarki Yola.
Recall that the defendant was ordered to be remanded in police custody as the order was pronounced late friday evening, the time Corrections Personnel could not admit any defendant.
Justice Watch News gathered that the Scholar was taken to correctional centre today Monday amid tight armed security personnel by 10:30am.

He was taken to Kano Correctional Centre from the custody of the police at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) where he was detained after he was arraigned on Friday before Upper Shari,a Court Kofar Kudu for the allegations of Inciting Contempt of Religion and Derogatory statement on the Personality of Noble Prophet, His Households and Companions.
He pleaded not guilty, consequently, the case adjourned to 28th July, 2021, for mention.
