Reports coming from Adamawa State have revealed that the police distributed water to the peaceful protesters.

In Kano State, the protesters came out en masse. It started peacefully in some areas within the metropolis. However, in some places, the protesters set bonfires. It started peacefully but was later hijacked by hoodlums, rampaging buildings, and looting shops.
According to an eyewitness, the protesters looted from the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) situated at Audu Bako Secretariat, along State Road in Kano Metropolis.
Similarly, an eye witness told our correspondent that the hoodlums rampaged Kano Printing Press, along Emir’s Palace Road, carted away valuable properties.

Speaking to a local radio station monitored by our correspondent, the Kano State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed that the police have arrested a significant number of hoodlums allegedly engaged in looting public properties.
He also warned the public against committing theft and stated that the Kano CP has ordered a discreet investigation against the suspects arrested.
