The Adamawa State Police Command is deeply saddened to confirm the tragic killing of Mr. Thomas Godwin alias Zamfara, which occurred on the night of Tuesday, April 15, 2025

SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, Command’s Spokesperson made this known in a statement.
He said preliminary reports indicated that the victim was attacked by unknown person(s) while returning home, noting that he was reportedly beaten with sticks and clubs, resulting in his death.
The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, *CP Dankombo Morris has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police Incharge of Investigation (DC SCID) to carry a full-scale investigation into the incident.
