Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) has said that sustained monitoring and surveillance by the patrol team of the Corps in Kano has paid off, with the arrest of two (2) suspected armed robbers (phone snatchers) along Eastern bye- pass, Hotoro by Mohiba Filling station, Kano.
SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, Civil Defence (CDPRO) Kano command made this known in a statement issued, Thursday.

He identified the suspects as Abdullahi Ibrahim, 22yrs and Faisal Iliyasu, 20yrs of Tinshama and Challawa/Rangaza Nassarawa, Ungoggo local government areas.
The Suspects according to him have been picked up by operatives attached to Area F, area command with exhibits such as a locally made gun, a jet knife as well as cutlass.
The arrest was made on 30th Sept. 2024 at about 0100hrs (1am). They’re a syndicate of 4 with 2 of their accomplices still at large. Effort is being made to apprehend them.”

Checks revealed that, the suspects are into armed robbery, phone snatching, drugs dealing etc terrorizing residents of Hadejia road and Dakata, Kano State.”
He maintained that Investigation is going on, noting that in conclusion necessary legal actions will be instituted against them.
