Two Arrested for Vandalizing Armoured Cables Connecting Boronji Water Treatment plant

The Operatives of Adamawa state Police command attached to Dougirei Divisional Police Headquarters, while on Confidence Building Patrol along Boronji Water Treatment plant, behind Government House, Yola, responded to distress called from the Manager of the Water Treatment plant and arrested a 17years old Emmanuel Joseph and 25years Yohanna Sulei all resident of Boronji Yola North.

SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje Command’s Public Relations Officer made the disclosure, Monday.

He alleged that the Suspects conspired and vandalized armoured cables connecting light to the treatment plant resulting to shorting down of Water supply.

The PPRO further said “Investigation so far reveals that the Suspects are collaborating with some yet to be arrested receivers who equally benefits even more from the services of the Water Treatment plant.”

The Commissioner of Police CP Afolabi Babatola assured that criminals of such attitude and their collaborators will never escape punishment .

SP Nguroje maintained that the Police Boss warned those receiving such items to desist henceforth or prepare for the end result.
