25 years old man identified as Gaiya Mallam Usman has been arrested after a man-hunt by the operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command in connection to kidnapping.
The Suspect, who hails from Tambo in Girei LGA, along with 4 others now at large in separate occasion kidnapped 3 people in the community and collected the sum of N8million ransom.

SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, Command’s Spokesperson made the disclosure in a statement issued, Monday.
He said the Suspect added that he was given N470,000 only out of Eight Million they realized from the families of their victims, explaining that he had used his proceeds and bought clothes.

SP Nguroje maintained that the Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola, had ordered Commander Crack Squad to take over investigation as well to as ensure the prosecution of suspect(s) after the completion of investigation.
