During the proceedings at the Apex Court on Thursday, the Appellant attempted to present three different appeals of INEC, Abba Kabir and that of NNPP but the Court declined and instructed them to choose one, stressing that the judgment of each one will effect the two appeals

Accordingly, the counsel for the Appellants presented the appeal of Abba Kabir Yusuf as their chosen appeal, while the respondent’s counsel responded.

APC, similarly presented its cross appeal, challenging some portion of the lower Court judgement.

After hearing the arguments from both parties, the Supreme Court reserved a date for pronouncing the judgment.

“The judgment is now reserved, and the registry will notify both parties as soon as the date for judgment is determined.”
