The delegates of the Radio, Television, and Theatre Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU) from 36 states and the FCT, Abuja, have converged in Gombe State to decide on the next national leaders.
The candidates contesting for the position of National President are Emeka Kalu from Anambra, Mr. Dare Durosimi from Lagos, and Mrs. Opi Erokosima from Rivers State.
Other candidates are contesting various positions.
The State Chairman of RATTAWU, Comrade Babangida Mamuda Biyamusu, stated that the Kano delegates are intact and ready for the election.
Among the eight observers from Kano are the Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Mustapha Gambo Muhammad, and the Secretary, Comrade Abubakar Shehu Kwaru
