The Image Africa Legacy Scholarship Scheme has appointed the proprietor of Rakad International School, Hajiya Rabi Rakad Hotoro, as the Nigeria Country Coordinator/Representative.
In an appointment letter dated August 16, 2024, signed by the International Administrator of the Image Africa Legacy Scholarship Scheme, Osei Bonsu Kwame, and addressed to Dr. Hajiya Rabia Yasai Hassan Cengiz (Hajiya Rakad), it stated,
“I am honored to extend our heartfelt congratulations on your appointment as the Nigeria Country Coordinator/Representative.”
The letter further emphasized that your extensive experience, innovative ideas, and unwavering commitment to education will be pivotal in driving the success of our mission, particularly in Nigeria, where your leadership will play a crucial role.

Additionally, Mr. Kwame, the International Administrator of the Scheme, noted that Hajiya Rakad’s letter of acceptance was signed in Ankara at the Nigerian Embassy to Turkey, in the office of the Ambassador of Nigeria to Turkey.
The Scheme described this appointment as a significant milestone that reflects the importance of your role and the international attention it commands.

Furthermore, in recognition of your achievement and the strategic importance of your position, we will be sharing this congratulatory message with prominent international media outlets such as Al Jazeera, CNN Africa, BBC Africa and Voice of America, as well as local Ghanaian stations including Media General, UTV, and Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.”

Additionally, the Image Africa Legacy assured that the announcement will be broadcasted on local Nigerian stations like Lagos Television, TVC News, Galaxy Television, among others, to celebrate the appointment across both nations.
