A Police Officer, serving Delta Command, Inspector Ubi Ebri, who reportedly shot dead one Mr. Onyeka Ibe on the 5th April, 2023 has been dismissed from Nigeria Police and will accordingly charged to court today, Wednesday for prosecution.
Delta State Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe disclosed this in a statement issued, Wednesday.

Justice Watch News, earlier recalls that the suspect while on stop and search duty along Ugbolu-Illah Road, Oshimili North LGA, Delta state command, allegedly shot the victim.
Similarly, in a statement issued on 5th April, 2023 by DSP Edafe, the Command’s CP noted that the Force, being a discipline organisation, will not condone such cruel action by any member of the force, assuring that the offending officer will be subjected to internal disciplinary measures, including prosecution.

The CP appealed to members of the public to remain calm and law abiding, assuring that justice will not just be done but will be seen to have been done.
