Police, Vigilante Group Collaborate to Rescue Kidnapped Victim in Gombe

The Gombe State Police Command has said that, following a swift and coordinated operation, policemen in collaboration with the local vigilante group successfully rescued the kidnapped victim, Alhaji Samaila Muhammed, a 48-year-old Hausa man from Lano Village.

He was found unhurt and was immediately taken to hospital for medical examination.

Following earlier statement regarding the kidnapping incident in Lano via Yamaltu Deba LGA, the State Police Command provided an update on the situation

DSP Buhari Abdullahi Police Public Relations Officer Gombe State Police Command made this known in a statement.

He said the victim had since been reunited with his family after medical attention.
