The Adamawa State Commissioner of police CP Afolabi Babatola has visited organised Police Community engagement, a Framework to preventing Kidnapping, Armed robbery, Cattle Rustling and other nefarious activities initiated by the Command.

SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, Command’s Spokesperson said the Commissioner of police interacts extensively with Critical Stakeholders, Community leaders, Hunters /Vigilantes leaders, representative of Grazers and Farmers, in Mubi North/South, Maiha, Michika and Madagali Local Government Areas on the need to embrace the already existing peace and deal with all forms of crimes in the state.

He advised against actions and utterances that could be inimical to peace.
Similarly, the CP charged all Police Officers and other law enforcement agents to act in accordance with the Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) of the force and other extant laws guiding their overall conduct .
He warned that any police Officer found acting contrary to their oaths of office or behaving in a way and manner prejudicial to discipline will be strictly and personally held liable .
“The Senior Stakeholder, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Ahmadu , the Emir of Mubi keyed into the Command’s initiative and strategies to preventing crimes. While expressing his maximum support to the laudable initiative, equally thanked the Commissioner of police for the visit to his Kingdom.”

The Commissioner of police was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner of police in charge of Operations DCP Morris Dankombo, Commander 14 pmf Yola and other Senior police officers.
