Sequel to looting spree mostly by youths after the demolition of some structures by the Kano state Government allegedly wrongly acquired , the Kano Police Command has arrested and arraigned 106 persons in connection with various crimes.

The suspects were arraigned before magistrate court 35 Nomansland, charged with offences ranging from criminal trespass, shop breaking, mischief and theft.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the command SP. Haruna Kiyawa said the suspects were arrested at various locations in Kano metropolis.

He emphasized that the command will not fold it’s arms and watch perpetration of criminal activities.
