The State Commandant, Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Gombe State Command has decorated 43 newly promoted and upgraded senior Officers of the Command.
SC Buhari Saad Public Relations Officer, FRSC Gombe state command stated this in a statement.

He explained that the officers were decorated into their various respective ranks amidst cheers from relatives , friends , families and professional colleagues.
He said the ceremony was witnessed and performed by Commander 301 Artillery Regiment General Support represented by Maj A. Orinan , the Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Commission Felix Theiman and the Controller Nigeria Correctional Service represented by DCC Ezekiel M. Umaru.

The Commandant Achir D. Abraham charged the newly promoted Officers to re-dedicate themselves to the service of the Nation as they prepare for higher challenges.
He stated that the promotion was based on their excellent performance at the promotional exams.
He urged other officers that were not promoted not to give up but take it as a challenge to redouble their efforts.
Meanwhile, CC Archir D Abraham has deployed 780 Officers and Men to provide security before, during and after the Eid-el-Kabir celebration in all the 11 local government areas of the state.
He maintained that the deployment was drawn from the CTU, SWAT, ARMS SQUAD, CNAI, AGRO RANGERS, and INTELLIGENCE.

He tasked them to be professional in ensuring safety of lives and protection of critical assets in the State and wishes all Muslims Ummah happy Sallah celebration.
