Pensioners Hail KNSG for Allocating N6bn to Settle Backlog of Gratuities

The Kano State Government, led by Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has been commended for securing N6 billion to settle the outstanding gratuities and death benefits of pensioners in the state.

The Chairman of the Kano State Pensioners Forum, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim D.Y (Matawalle Dan Kadai), expressed his appreciation through a statement issued on Saturday.

Alhaji Ado Ibrahim D.Y acknowledged the genuine concern shown by the present administration towards the plight of pensioners, which is in stark contrast to previous years.

He emphasized that the development will significantly alleviate the suffering and hardships faced by pensioners, as well as the families of deceased pensioners who have dependents in need of financial support across the state.

Furthermore, Ado Ibrahim D.Y extended his gratitude on behalf of the Pensioners Forum to the state government for their proactive efforts.

He concluded by offering prayers for Allah’s guidance to continue leading the present administration on the right path.
