The Nigerian Army on Saturday, released the official portrait of 23rd Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Major General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja.
In its verified social media platform, the Nigerian Army, called on public to disregard all pictures of the COAS from his former commands.

It also urged public to use the approved official portrait of the COAS.

On June 25, he approved the posting and appointment of some senior officers of the Nigerian Army (NA) to command, instructional and staff appointments across Nigerian Army formations and units.

A statement by Brig. Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu, Director Army Public Relations said the posting and appointment was part of an effort to reposition the Nigerian Army (NA) for operational efficiency and functional administration.
