Nigerian Government Condemns Coup d’etat in Guinea

The Nigerian Government has condemned the coup d’etat that occurred in Republic of Guinea today Sunday.

In a statement by Esther Susunwa, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Forieng Affairs said the coup has violated the Ecowas Protocol on Democracy and Good Governance.

The statement also said the Government has strongly condemned and rejected any unconstitutional change government the statement reads ” the Government therefore those behind this coup to restore constitutional order without delay and protect all lives and property”.
