Nasarawa CP Warns Troublemakers to Stay Away from Voting Areas for Doma South/Keana Election

The Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command, CP Umar Shehu Nadada has summoned all Area Commanders, Squadron Commanders, Divisional Police officers, Heads of Departments, and Tactical Team Commanders for a meeting ahead of the upcoming Doma South and Keana State Constituency election on February 3rd, 2024.

In his address, the Commissioner of Police assured residents that adequate security deployments have been made to cover all polling units, Collation Centers, Constituency Collation centers, and INEC offices in the affected Local Government Areas where elections will be held, and called on voters to go all out and exercise their franchise without fear.

He further warned those planning to cause trouble to steer clear of voting areas or risk being arrested.

DSP Ramhan Nansel, Public Relations Officer Nasarawa State Command however in a statement said the Commissioner of Police charged all officers to be professional in the discharge of their duties and civil to electorates.
